This tour takes your from Lusaka to Livingstone via the "unspoilt" Kafue National Park. Kafue National Park is the oldest and largest of Zambia’s national parks. It covers a massive 22,400 km 2.. First established as a National Park in the 1950’s by the legendary Norman Carr, Kafue is one of the largest national parks in the whole of Africa.

Ithezi Thezi Southern Kafue National Park – Game drive
Day By Day Itnerary
The fire is the main comfort of the camp, whether in summer or winter.
Day 1: Lusaka to Kafue
Leave Lusaka in the early morning to drive to Kafue National Park. Once inside the park the drive turns into a game drive as chances

Day 2 - 4: Kafue National Park
We have the whole day to do game viewing in the Park. Several small rivers cross this area. These leave a number of waterholes in the dry season for the animals to quench their thirst.
Wild dogs, which roam large areas of the park, cheetah and lion are among the inhabitants here. Camping on the banks of the Kafue River at Mayukuyuku Camp and Kasabushi Camp. (3x FB).

Day 5: Ithezi Thezi Southern Kafue National Park
After a morning drive in the central Kafue Park we head south to Lake Ithezi Thezi. The rest of the day on spent on game drives in this area of the park. Camping next to the lake.
. The Itezhi-Tezhi Dam on the Kafue River in west-central Zambia was built between 1974 and 1977 at the Itezhi-Tezhi Gap, in a range of hills through which the river had eroded a narrow valley, leading to the broad expanse of the wetlands known as the Kafue Flats.

Day 6: Kafue to Livingstone
After a last game drive on the shores of the lake, we pack up camp and drive to Livingstone.
There are a lot of activities on offer: white water rafting, sundowner drift, canoeing, swimming under the Victoria Falls and Devil’s Pool and much more. Drop off at your accommodation in town or airport in Livingstone in the early afternoon.
