A fly-in safari makes use of light aircraft to transfer you between locations within a safari destination, saving you time moving between attractions so that you can see and do more on your vacation.
Expect spectacular panoramas and the benefit of a better understanding of the wilderness you journey through – when your guide mentions the mountains that border the area, or the vastness of the plains, your aerial viewpoint gives you the full picture.

This tour package will allow you to visit the best of Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park the southern parks of the Selous and Ruaha are worth serious consideration and are the preferred destination for most that are really keen on their safari. The benefits of heading to the south is that, where the very north of the Serengeti gives the numbers of game, along with some seclusion, the southern parks are still very much “frontier” parks and so are noticeably less busy (they also feature the same spread of species as the north, but more like a thousand, rather than 2 million).

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN DAR ES SALAAM /MIKUMI
On arrival at dare s salaam airport you will meet with our safari driver who will transfer you to Serena

DAY 2: MIKUMI – UDZUNGWA MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK
Early morning drives in Mikumi park followed by breakfast at 1045hrs in your accommodation, after

DAY 3: WONDERFUL WALKING IN UDZUNGWA PARK
Morning after breakfast, a walking in this beautiful Park enjoying and experience the stunning natural beauty of the park.
Lunch in the bush then proceed exploring the area, wonderful waterfall, endemic red colobus monkey and the beautiful scenery with a lot of butterflies, evening experience the Sun Set before return to the Camp for dinner and overnight udzungwa hondo hondo forest camp

DAY 4: UDZUNGWA TO SELOUS
After breakfast proceed with walking tour to Udzungwa National park. Here you will get a good view for
Kilombero valley ideal for agriculture. Make short visit to the water fall while accompanied with your local guide. Later before noon walk back to the lodge for hot lunch and then start to Selous game reserve on arrival you will be met and transferred to Selous safari camp for check in, afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp

DAY 05: FULL DAY IN SELOUS
Breakfast is served at the Camp, Morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve.
Selous is the largest game reserve in Africa – 4 times the size of the Serengeti. It possesses a diverse landscape from hot volcanic springs, sporadic lakes, channels from the Great Ruaha and Rufiji Rivers, visit the famous Hot Spring and The Selous Grave if the road is in a good condition. Meals and overnight at Rufiji River Camp

DAY 6: FULL DAY IN SELOUS
Breakfast is served at the camp. Morning and afternoon game excursions in the reserve,
Morning walking safari with the escort of an armed ranger in the reserves, Afternoon lunch at the camp followed by a short rest, afternoon boat safari in the River. Meals and overnight at Rufiji River Camp

DAY 7: SELOUS / RUAHA, BY CAR
After breakfast transfer you will drive to ruaha national park a game view,

DAY 8: FULL DAY IN RUAHA
Breakfast is served at camp, Morning and afternoon game drive in Ruaha National park.
This is the largest park in east Africa after its nearby game areas declared as part of Ruaha National park. Meals and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge

DAY 9: FULL DAY IN RUAHA
Breakfast is served at the camp. Morning and afternoon game drive the park.
The park is famous for the high concentration of Elephant than any other Park in east Africa, a place where magnificent mammals like Kudu (both greater and lesser), Sable and Roan antelopes can be spotted. Meals and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge

DAY 10: RUAHA / KATAVI BY FLIGHT
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for scheduled flight to Katavi national park on arrival you will be
met and transferred to camp for check in and early lunch, afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight Katavi wildlife Camp

DAY 11: FULL DAY IN KATAVI
Breakfast is served at the camp, Morning and afternoon game excursions in the park including game drives,
walking and bird watching. An estimated 4,000 elephants might converge on the area, together with several herds of 1,000-plus buffalo, while an abundance of giraffe, zebra, impala and reedbuck provide an easy picking for the numerous lion prides and spotted hyena clans whose territories converge on the floodplains. Meals and overnight at Katavi wildlife Camp

DAY 12: KATAVI / MAHALE
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for you scheduled flight to Mahale National park (ETD 0910 / ETA 1000),
on arrival you will be met and transferred to Greystoke Mahale Camp for check in and lunch, afternoon excursion of your choice. Dinner and overnight at Greystoke Mahale camp

DAY 13 TO 14: FULL DAYS IN MAHALE
Break is served at the camp, morning and afternoon excursions in Mahale National Park.
You will have a choice of excursion to do every day among of Chimp tracking, forest walk, birding, and boat trips, Kayaks, snorkeling and fishing. Meals and overnight at Greystoke Mahale camp
